OUR HISTORY

KBMO-AM was started in 1956. In 1979, KBMO-FM came on the air. In 1985, KBMO-FM changed to KSCR-FM. Then, in 1990, KBMO-AM changed to KSCR-AM. And then in 2000, KSCR-AM was changed back to KBMO-AM.
Whaaaa? Yeah, we’re confused ourselves. But the story of KBMO/KSCR isn’t over yet. On May 22, 2021, KBMO-AM turned on an FM translator, K278CX at 103.5 FM, simulcasting KBMO-AM’s programming on the FM dial.
We’ve been a part of Swift County for over half a century. And we’re looking forward to our new era with this website and our streaming app that will give you exclusive offers, deals, contests and local notifications. Our Android app is currently available to download, and our iPhone app will be available soon!
